The Ponte Verde scores big time with its large pizza variety from which even vegetarians can order a Pizza Tonno, Hawaii or Frutti di Mare without remorse. In the vegan way, Parmesan, Gorgonzola and Mozzarella are substituted with Pizza-Schmelz, a vegan cheese alternative – please state explicitly “vegan” when ordering.
Another feature worth mentioning is their weekdays lunch arrangement , for example wiht a small salad or soup as starter, followed by lasagna and something to drink.
The owners of the Ponte Verde are not newcomers to the veggie-scene, they also run the successful vegetarian fast food restaurant Yellow Sunshine Burger in Kreuzberg.
